The National Quality Framework (NQF) is a system in Australia that sets standards for early childhood education and care services. The NQF helps educators understand and adhere to these standards, and also allows parents and caregivers to assess the quality of childcare centres when making decisions about where to enrol their children.

The NQF includes seven quality areas, which are:

1. Educational program and practice

2. Children’s health and safety

3. Physical environment

4. Staffing arrangements

5. Relationships with children

6. Collaborative partnerships with families and communities

7. Governance and leadership

For a service to be rated as exceeding they must meet met or exceed the standards in at least four of the seven areas.

We take great pride in achieving the highly coveted Exceeding National Quality Standard rating from the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority(ACECQA) for our kindergarten.
